Design Philosophy
Memory and remembrance are embraced as ways of creating work that endures — whether through lasting sensorial impressions, emotional resonance, or choices that age with dignity.
‘Memorable’
Three different ways to pursue ‘memorable’ - sensorially, emotionally or sustainably
-
It may whisper or it may declare, but it never disappears into anonymity
Memorable means leaving an impression. Sometimes subtle, sometimes bold — whether through form, texture, or atmosphere — the design has a presence. It may whisper or it may declare, but it never disappears into anonymity.
Every decision, from material to form to presence, is guided by the ambition to make design that is lived with, remembered, and valued over time. -
Memorable objects carry traces of cherished moments, telling stories of people
On an emotional level, memorable objects carry stories about people. It is not about making a statement for the sake of attention. They are not fleeting or fashionable, but long-lived — becoming part of daily life, gathering memories, and with time, earning a presence that makes them cherished, even inherited.
These are things that don’t demand the spotlight, but instead accompany us, shaping the atmosphere of our homes and becoming companions we live with and grow alongside. Over time, they gather meaning, carrying with them the traces of our lives. -
‘Lasting’ does not mean unaffected by time, rather embracing the opposite
The value of an object lies in how it is lived with — touched, used, repaired, and passed down. Believing memorable means designing pieces that are part of our stories, objects that invite connection and care, that stay present in our lives rather than fading away.
They are not only seen, but felt and remembered. Worth holding onto, not only to admire at a distance.
